Lares Trek full day
Tour Overview
..Lares Trek is an ideal blend of cultural and natural beauty. We will enjoy the ecosystem’s challenge as well as the breathtaking view of the snow-capped Salkantay (6264m/20551f), the most representative mountain in the Vilcabamba mountain range. The walk transports us back to the Inca era and makes us conscious of the spirits of mountains like Tucarhuay and Humantay, both of which have peaks higher than 5000m (16404 feet).
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Tour Details
We will leave Cusco early at 5 in the morning and we will go to the Calca Valley where we can have breakfast. Then we go to the community of Quiswarani where our guided tour to the 7 waterfalls of Lares begins, the walk will last 30 minutes until we reach the waterfalls and 30 minutes the return. From Quiswarani we will take our bus to go to Lares, where we can enjoy our lunch.
Once in Lares we go to the Lares Thermomedicinal Complex, where we can enjoy various water temperatures ranging from 30 to 45 Celsius. Then we return to Cusco, arriving around 6 pm.

Depending on the number of people in your booking, additional people may join the trek to make a full group.
If you choose âprivateâ, no additional people will be joining your group, no matter the size.
Minimum booking size is two people; one person may book a group trek if Kimsa Expeditions is able to join that person with additional groups.
